Introducing Director Kelly-Marie Singleton
A first-class graduate in acting for stage and screen from Staffordshire University, has made her professional directing debut with “Life’s Little VicToms,” a new comedy play. The play reflects the ups and downs of life itself, capturing all of the little hiccups that we experience. Kelly has had the pleasure of working with two incredibly talented actors who bring the script to life, giving the relationship a realistic feel, allowing us to sympathize and relate in more ways than one. The play follows Tom and Vicky as they navigate the key factors of life, including love, laughter, and death, all while reminiscing and bickering. Hand in hand, heart to heart, and with a positive outlook, Life goes on, and Tom and Vicky are ready to embrace it.
Steve Powell
Accomplished Actor and Writer Steven Powell has over two decades of experience in writing and acting. His latest project is a two one-act play that delves into the daily routines of married couples, based on his observations of real-life couples. Audiences have praised the play for its authenticity, as it reflects their own experiences. Get ready to laugh out loud as the play is sure to bring a barrel of laughs. In the play, Steven plays Tom, a character inspired by his late father and other married couples he’s encountered. As rehearsals progressed, Tom evolved and developed his own unique traits. The play is based on true stories but is carefully crafted to ensure a great story without compromising the truth of the situations encountered.
Diane Collings
Our Vicky, Diane will make her return to the Life’s Little Victoms. She originally started the play with Steve when he first wrote and performed this show. Diane will bring her energy back, a new egde to Vicky and marking her stamp on the show once again!
